When I moved to Sweden I had no hesitation about joining the newly established brownies held at my school (where I was newly employed) back in 2004. I was thrilled to be able to carry on Guiding, giving the wonderful opportunity to the girls that I had had as a girl. In a way guiding felt so much more valuable here in our international bubble, giving the girls experiences and opportunities that they otherwise wouldn’t have been able to access.
