I don’t remember not attending a Girlguiding unit. I was given a “Baby Owl” badge and brownie blanket at birth. 
My mum was a leader in Aberdeen so I went regularly to meetings with my older sister then when I was old enough to join rainbows we lived in Malaysia so I became part of BGO. During the covid lockdown I spent 18 months learning at home and the highlight of each week was joining a zoom meeting for fun and catching up with my friends we even built a zip line to the house next door where another rainbow and her mum lived so we could send the teddy bear across the wall.. but one fell in the pond… that was so much fun doing a badge all about the circus while we were legally not allowed to leave the house. I completed my rainbow gold award all from home and I really want to get to my brownie gold award but that May no longer be possible unless I make my family move back to Scotland. I love being a brownie I have made good friends and learnt lots like how to save a life with CPR and how a caterpillar  becomes a butterfly.
