BGO holds an event in the UK every two years, where members from all over the world meet for a camping or residential event with adventurous and fun activities and some leaders’ trainings.
Unfortunately due to COVID 19 we are unable to hold our events as planned in 2021, but the information below should show you what we are planning.
It was planned to hold Action 21 as the BGO summer event for 2021 at Waddow Hall. Waddow offer an exciting programme and fully catered camping and indoor options. Our booking has now been postponed until 2022.
Meanwhile we are planning a BGO Virtual Event for summer 2021. Details will be updated as soon as we have drawn up a plan in consultation with members.
Camp Viva will now be held in April 2022. Countries and regions are being invited to send a group of 6 Guides and 2 adults. The camp will be held on a site just outside Málaga, Spain. Various activities are to be arranged during the week including a hike along the Caminito de los Reyes and trips to Málaga city. If any BGO unit or district would like to put together a group, then please express you interest using the email below. There will also be opportunities to become a member of the SERVICE crew.
